Healthwatch – Have you used the NHS 111 Service in the last 3 months??

Posted on:

We wanted to let you know about some of our current engagement work and to ask if you could help spread the word and share this information via your channels i.e. social media, newsletters, groups etc.

Up to the end of May 2021 we want to speak to Wigan Borough residents about their experience of using the NHS 111 service online or by telephone.  This is a joint piece of work between the local NHS and Healthwatch Wigan and Leigh.

We want to gather some positive experiences of using the service to encourage more people to think NHS 111 first and to help promote the service and how it can help when you need urgent help but aren’t sure what to do.

As well as gathering positive experiences we also want to hear if you think anything could have been better so we can work to make any improvements or help people to access the help they need.

Who should get involved?

We want to hear from any residents who live in Wigan Borough and have used the NHS 111 service online (by visiting 111.nhs.uk) or by calling 111. This can also be if you used NHS 111 on behalf of a child or someone you care for.

How to get involved?

We have set up a simple form online. Click here to complete

If you would prefer to speak to someone about your experience, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Communication and Engagement Team by emailing [email protected] or by calling 01924 482711.

We understand a lot of sessions are being held online at the moment and we are happy to link in with these.  If you would like us to come and speak to service users about the NHS 111 service and gather some feedback, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
